"Every five years, the Internal Audit function is reviewed, and for a small department like ours, that's pretty exciting. The preparations start early. After all, the records of the audits performed must look good. The framework within which we perform the function must also meet the quality requirements. Now we already perform annual maintenance on the records and perform internal review work on the files, so we are ready for the quality review fairly quickly."
