Introduction
ARC People protects the privacy of its associates. All privacy-sensitive information you provide to ARC People is covered by this privacy statement. ARC People endeavors to keep this information confidential and to use it only for the purposes described below. ARC People confirms itself to the General Data Protection Regulation.
Who is ARC People?
ARC People is a limited liability company. The Data Protection Officer is Suzanne de Wit. She is also the contact person for all privacy-related questions. You can reach her at suzanne@arcpeople.nl
Purposes of processing your data
The moment you enter your data on ARC People's website, your personal data is recorded for the performance of our services.
Your personal data are processed:
- for providing our services such as recruitment & selection (permanent positions), filling interim positions, sending newsletters, job alerts and offering education/training. ARC People, as the responsible party within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation, collects the personal data provided by you or the public data via LinkedIn and uses it to process your indicated interests and to help you get in touch with (potential) job holders/clients.
- To assess your suitability and availability in connection with mediation to an assignment or vacancy;
- In order to be able to bill towards the client upon successful mediation;
- To stay in touch with our clients and potential clients, for which we use our CRM system;
- for providing (personal) data to certain third parties (such as Police, Justice and rights holders) if we see reason to do so under laws, regulations and certifications or this Privacy Statement;
- for measuring interest in ARC People's services and promoting user convenience of the website (see section Using Google Analytics)
- To provide you with offers and/or information about our services and other activities.
Your data will be stored in our recruitment system Carerix. For independent professionals, upon successful mediation, your data (only your name) will also be stored in our administration (in connection with invoicing) and contract data will be stored in Teams. Your data will not be processed outside the EU, with the exception of information obtained through cookies (see heading Use of Google Analytics).
What data do we ask you for?
We ask for the following data when registering (open or on a vacancy or assignment): name (first name, middle name and surname), telephone number and CV. We need this data in order to assess whether you fit the relevant vacancy/assignment, or in the case of an open application, to assess whether we see future opportunities for future vacancies and assignments and to inform you of the results of this assessment.
To independent professionals who start working for one of our clients, we ask for more information; this information can be found in the file ARC.info for IP.pdf that independent professionals receive prior to the assignment.
With an open application, we will anonymize your data if we do not see any opportunities. We will also inform you about this. We will also ask if you are interested in our newsletter and job alert.
Every entry in our recruitment system is reviewed. And if necessary, we supplement the data with public information from LinkedIn, such as area of expertise and position. We do this in order to recruit you in the best possible way. Once registered, you can manage this data yourself via our portal.
We ask for your name and mailing address when signing up for the newsletter and your name, first name, mailing address and employer name when signing up for a training.
Obligation to provide your data and basis
The processing of your data is primarily based on consent, performance of any agreement and legal basis (tax law). You are not obliged to provide your data but then it is also not possible to use our services. After all, the data mentioned are minimally necessary to assess your suitability for the vacancy in question or future potential and to inform you about it. When the interim assignment with our client is concluded, the data will also be stored for the purpose of executing the agreement.
Recipients of your data
Your details will never be disclosed outside ARC People without having contacted you. If you agree, your details will only be disclosed to the recruiting client or, in the case of hiring, to its broker in the event of a contract with ARC People.
Retention period
When you apply for a permanent position, we keep your data in our database for four weeks after the application process is completed. Only if you give us your consent will we retain your data for one year after the completion of your application process.
In case of an open application, we keep your data in our database for one year. Before the end of that year, we ask your permission to keep this data for another year.
In case you are an independent professional, we save your data after registration (open registration or on an assignment) for the period of 5 years. In addition, we also keep the data you provide in connection with complying with, for example, Wet DBA and for billing and tax law purposes.
For newsletters and job alerts, your data will be kept until you revoke the consent yourself with an op out. After following a training course at ARC your data will be deleted.
Your rights
Via your own account on our portal, you have access to your registered personal data and the classifications we have added. You can change this information yourself at any time, such as making changes to your CV or other data.
If you wish to delete your data please contact the Data Protection Officer.
Furthermore, you have the right to:
- object to the processing of the data;
- the right to data portability;
- To withdraw the consent granted;
You can arrange all these things through the Data Protection Officer.
In addition, you can file a complaint with the regulator.
Security level
ARC People is committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining its accuracy. ARC People reasonably implements physical, administrative and technical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure. For example, ARC People works only with reputable vendors.
However, users of ARC People's services are reminded that it is impossible to completely exclude all unauthorized use and any accidental loss of data. ARC People accepts no liability if, despite the measures taken, data entered is still compromised, lost or used by unauthorized persons, unless there is intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of ARC People in this regard.
Consent to use entered data
By entering data relating to yourself (such as CVs, name and address details etc) on the ARC People website or by otherwise supplying it to ARC People, you warrant that you are entitled to make this data available to ARC People for the aforementioned purposes and consent to this. You indicate this by checking the box for: "I agree to the Privacy Statement".
ARC People reserves the right to shorten, delete or give further instructions to the submitter of submitted texts for modifications thereof. ARC People will not use the data received for any purpose other than as shown above.
Use of Google Analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies" (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in various countries outside the EU. Google uses this information to track how you use the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that these third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Changes to privacy regulations
ARC People may make changes, additions or modifications to its Privacy Statement from time to time for a variety of reasons. The most current Privacy Statement can be viewed on ARC People's website at any time.
