ARC People, as the responsible party within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation, collects the personal data provided by you and uses it to process your application and to help you get in touch with (potential) vacancy holders within ARC People, so that you can be matched to one or more vacancies.

    • To assess your suitability and availability in connection with mediation to an assignment or vacancy;

    • In order to be able to bill towards the client upon successful mediation;

    • for providing (personal) data to certain third parties (such as Police, Justice and rights holders) if we see reason to do so under laws and regulations or this Privacy Policy;

    • for measuring interest in ARC People's services and promoting user convenience of the website (see section Using Google Analytics)

    • To provide you with offers and/or information about our services and other activities.

Your data will be stored in our recruitment system Carerix. Upon successful mediation, your data (only your name) will also be stored in our administration (in connection with invoicing) and for freelancers, contract data will also be stored in Onedrive.

Your data is not processed outside the EU, except for the information obtained through cookies (see heading Use of Google Analytics).

What data do we ask you for?

We ask for the following data when registering (open or on an application): name (first name, middle name and last name), telephone number and CV. We need this data to assess whether you are a good fit for the vacancy in question, or for an open application, to assess whether we see future opportunities for future vacancies and assignments, and to inform you of the results of this assessment. And because speed is often of the essence, email alone is not enough. With an open application, we will anonymize your data if we do not see any opportunities. We will also inform you about this. We will also ask if you are interested in our newsletter and job alert.

Each application is reviewed and completed by us in our recruitment system with information about specific skills (industry knowledge) and titles. We do this so that we can recruit you in the best possible way. We obtain this information from your CV. We do not store any additional data, we only classify it. Once registered, you can manage this data yourself via our portal.

Obligation to provide your data

You are not obliged to provide your data but then it is also not possible to use our services. After all, the data mentioned are minimally necessary to assess your suitability for the job in question or future potential and to inform you about it.

Recipients of your data

Your details will never be disclosed outside ARC People without having contacted you. Your details will only be provided to the client or its broker in the event of a contract being signed.

Retention period

In the case of an application for a permanent position, we generally keep your data in our database until four weeks after the application procedure is completed. Only if you give us your consent will we store your data for one year after the completion of your application process.

In case of an open application, we keep your data in our database for one year. Before the end of that year, we ask your permission to keep this data for another year.

In case you are an independent professional (zzp-er) we keep your data after registration (open registration or on an assignment) for the period of 5 years.

Your rights

Via your own account on our portal, you have access to your registered personal data and the classifications we have added. You can change this information yourself at any time, such as making changes to your CV or other data.

If you wish to delete your data please contact the Data Protection Officer.

Furthermore, you have the right to:

    • object to the processing of the data;

    • the right to data portability;
