Quality review

Effective preparation for a quality review

All members of the IIA, a professional association for internal auditors, must comply with international standards for the professional practice of internal auditing, regardless of the size of their audit department.

Part of the IIA standards is the implementation of a Quality Assurance & Improvement Program (QAIP), which requires audit departments to conduct a self-assessment at least annually. Maintaining a reliable record of these self-assessments can streamline the external quality review, which is typically performed every five years.

  • ARC People can provide you with professional support with the following services, among others:Advising on how to meet the formal requirements of IIA, NOREA and/or NBA in the most efficient way possible.
  • Intermediate tests (e.g., file reviews) to evaluate the timeliness and sufficiency of your audit methodology.

With these services, ARC People significantly enhances the quality of your audit department. Our services are conducted by seasoned audit professionals with extensive experience in quality reviews. Sharing best practices is an integral part of our approach.

Excellent performance in quality review

An audit department outsourced to ARC People has passed the quality test with flying colors.
