At ARC People, I am responsible for building and delivering (primarily) Internal Audit services. We provide various forms of co- and outsourcing, separate investigations and also many coaching, review and consulting assignments.
I have gained internal audit and risk knowledge and experience in various industries, both in the financial sector and beyond. First in permanent employment, later (in 2017) I joined ARC People. I have a broad interest and focus on the more complex assignments in cyber security, IT (-compliance) and large-scale projects. Often I have final responsibility roles (e.g. CAE, CRO or CISO). I am accustomed to working in both large and small-scale organizations and to collaborating with managements/boards of directors, commissioners and regulators. I also regularly conduct IT audit training for ARC People clients and candidates.
I am a team player, connecting leader and change agent. I go for the organizational and team interest and do not lose sight of the individual. People characterize me as a manager with vision, able to realize goals. My focus is always on relevance, I get energy from value creation, by doing things differently than others. My approach therefore typifies itself as Agile. This is also the reason why I often coach Internal Audit functions on the way to a more Agile approach.
I am registered as an IT auditor (RE), Registered Operational auditor (RO), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC). I have also completed a number of post-master's courses, including in the area of CSRD.
In my free time I like to be active in and around the house. Together with my partner I like to make beautiful trips, a combination of resting and visiting beautiful surroundings. At home we try to live environmentally and health-consciously and find a balance in everything. My home is the center of my life, where I like to see family, friends and relatives to enjoy together.
