Anita van der Leeuw

At ARC People since 2021, I am Senior Manager IT risk where I provide services in the areas of audit, risk and compliance. My specialization is in the areas of IT Audit, risk management and internal controls. Furthermore, I am knowledge expert in the areas of Cloud Security, Ransomware Resilience and DORA legislation.

I derive great satisfaction from performing challenging IT Audit and Risk assignments with clients, either on an interim basis or in a more structural co-sourcing relationship. I am also currently Chief Audit Executive (CAE) at a small insurer that has outsourced the audit function to ARC People.

As a highly experienced IT audit, risk and internal control manager and consultant, no client question is too complex for me. I have experience in managing teams (2-10 people) and conducting workshops and training sessions. I also have experience in a wide variety of industries and topics, including cyber security, data privacy and digital transformation.

I am registered as a Registered Operational Auditor (RO), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Cloud Auditor (CCAK). My clients experience me as an energetic and passionate professional who is honest, reliable and goal-oriented with a strong drive. 

I was trained as an auditor but my great passion is to make an impact by helping organizations improve. With my extensive knowledge of a variety of audit, risk and compliance frameworks, I am able to analyze problems in a structured manner and recommend and/or implement improvements.

In my free time, I like to travel with my family. We also enjoy hiking together in nature. Furthermore, I am active at the gym and love to be busy with my hands: I make clothes and interior accessories and I love baking and painting.
